The High Holy Days are the holiest and most important time of the year. Thankfully, this year for the first time in two years, we will be able to gather and pray together as a community for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
For more information or to purchase tickets, please see below.
All services will be broadcast online for anyone to use anywhere in the world. To join us online, go to rtfh.org/live or our YouTube channel. The livestream is free and does not require registration. All are welcome.
EVERYONE MUST REGISTER AND PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION IN ORDER TO RECEIVE TICKETS!
Please submit copies of vaccination cards (if you have not already done so) for all attendees ages 5+ to Reform Temple of Forest Hills at services@rtfh.org. You may also upload vaccination cards below. If you do not submit vaccination cards in advance, you can either bring them to the RTFH office before the High Holy Days or you must bring them with you to services. Once you show proof of vaccination, you will then be able to pick up your tickets.
At RTFH, masks are optional but encouraged. Proof of vaccination for those 5 and older will be needed. Vaccine cards should be uploaded to services@rtfh.org for easy entry. If you have not already submitted vaccination cards, please bring them with you.
All member families are entitled to tickets for all people in your household. Please register for tickets so we have the names of everyone in your household who will be attending. Additional tickets are $240 for adults and $130 for youth 13-21 years of age.
Please log in to the member page of the RTFH website to register for or purchase tickets.
It is hard to believe that Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are around the corner. Since joining RTFH in 2019, I have been in awe of how our community members support each other and are committed to lifting one another up.
As a new mother to four-month old Henry, RTFH and its devoted, generous members have been a source of support, friendship, and prayer – helping me through the tough times and standing beside me to celebrate the joyous ones. I want to ensure that Henry grows up in this community – of course for Religious School and his Bar Mitzvah, but also for moments that only RTFH can provide: shared giggles with Rabbi Mark and his puppet friend Walter, ToFHY Shul-ins, the lovely neighborly run-ins with fellow congregants, Midnight Runs, an inclusive safe haven, and Bubbies galore. I wish this not just for my Henry, but for you and your families. To do so, we need to keep this Temple not just surviving, but thriving.
As we approach this most Holy time of year, I ask you to look back with a sense of gratitude on the potential with which this community provides you and your family. Without the financial support of each of us we could never achieve as much as we have. I call on you to make our community even stronger by offering a generous donation during this year’s Kol Nidre appeal.
Dues cover only a portion of our operating budget. No donation is too small and all donations are greatly appreciated.
Henry and I look forward to meeting you in person at our High Holiday services.
Our Book of Remembrance is an important tradition at RTFH. This booklet contains the names of our loved ones. Sharing these names as a community memorializes them in our collective memories.
This year, the book will be created digitally and will be displayed during services on Yom Kippur day. The digital Book of Remembrance will be available for download on this site.
Creating a digital book allows us to also include photographs. If you would like to submit a picture in honor of a loved one, please either send the picture electronically to services@rtfh.org or upload it below.
Please submit the names you wish to be listed no later than September 19, 2022. The cost is $10.00 per name for the listing and $18 for each photograph you would like to include.
