Celebrating Tu BiSh’vat

Tu BiSh’vat Community Seder Friday January 26, 6:15 p.m.

Tu BiSh’vat marks the time that Spring traditionally begins in Israel. This festival reminds us of our relationship with nature. It is a time to look at our impact on the world around us and change the way we interact with the environment.

Join us for our Tu BiSh’vat interactive Seder, led by Rabbi Kaiserman and Cantor Jacobson.  We will eat fruits native to Israel, share a light supper, and readings together as a community.

The Seder is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-13. Registration is required.  Please click here to log into ChaverWeb to register.

Note: Following the Seder will be Shabbat services 8:00 p.m. celebrating Shabbat Shira.  The Shira Song (Exodus 15:1-18) is the oldest song in Jewish History in existence. All ages are welcome to celebrate this poignant moment of our history – our liberation from bondage as we cross the Sea at this special musical Shabbat service. Cantor Jacobson will lead our Adult Choir and musicians in traditional and contemporary melodies.
